Clinical bodywork focusing on specific areas using a variety of myofascial release techniques. Therapeutic Bodywork is a blend of advanced deep tissue massage and body movement with the intention of lengthening chronically short muscles. Targeting these areas of dysfunction allows the therapist to restore range of motion, reduce the negative effects of gravity, alleviate pain, and allow the body to properly balance itself. Clinical bodywork focusing on specific muscles, rather than an entire muscle group, to relieve pain and restore mobility. Injury and Rehabilitative Bodywork is used to alleviate pain, increase circulation, release trigger points and adhesions, and decreases healing time. Releasing trigger points and adhesions in specific muscles allows the tissue to become more mobile and pliable, reducing spasms and increasing range of motion of the joints, which will also aid in preventing further or future injuries.
A 12 session series focusing on the connective tissues of the body to reorganize fascia and reduce the negative effects of gravity. Structural Integration is a system of soft tissue manipulation and movement education designed to organize the entire body in relation to gravity. By manipulating the connective tissue of the muscles, we affect the body’s posture and structure. Working through all layers of the body, we alleviate patterns of strain and tension throughout the entire system. This process allows for more efficient muscle use, energy conservation, and the creation of more economical and refined movement patterns.
Also known as Myofascial Decompression, it is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure, or suction, on the skin using plastic, or silicone cups that pull up underlying tissues, blood, and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. Used to treat musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, improving tissue health and increasing mobility. Cupping will be incorporated into many different modalities as an add on service.
