Signature Massage
Visit our offices in Scottsdale, Chandler or Avaondale for a relaxing combination of Swedish Massage and Therapeutic Bodywork. Our Keystone Signature Massage will relax the body, while following its fascial plains to balance and realign at the same time. By blending several different therapeutic and relaxing modalities this technique will relieve stress, and promote proper mind, body, and spirit function. The use of light to deep, long, and fluid strokes decreases muscle tension and improves circulation as well.
Therapeutic Bodywork
Clinical bodywork focusing on specific areas using a variety of myofascial release techniques. Therapeutic Bodywork is a blend of advanced deep tissue massage and body movement with the intention of lengthening chronically short muscles. Targeting these areas of dysfunction allows the therapist to restore range of motion, reduce the negative effects of gravity, alleviate pain, and allow the body to properly balance itself. Neuromuscular Re-Education
A unique and personalized body movement program, designed for each individual client to aid in postural and muscular imbalances without the use of massage or bodywork. Neuromuscular Re-Education uses specific, yet gentle movement exercises and stretches to restore full mobility and allow the body function properly. These exercises will strengthen specific muscles to allow the body naturally realign itself, in turn, the body will function properly and fluidly, as well as pain free. Re-Education movement exercises are gentle and effective enough to be performed by people of all ages and activity levels, and they are a great compliment to the other services that we offer.
Injury and Rehabilitative Bodywork
Clinical bodywork focusing on specific muscles, rather than an entire muscle group, to relieve pain and restore mobility. Injury and Rehabilitative Bodywork is used to alleviate pain, increase circulation, release trigger points and adhesions, and decreases healing time. Releasing trigger points and adhesions in specific muscles allows the tissue to become more mobile and pliable, reducing spasms and increasing range of motion of the joints, which will also aid in preventing further or future injuries.
Structural Integration
A 12 session series focusing on the connective tissues of the body to reorganize fascia and reduce the negative effects of gravity. Structural Integration is a system of soft tissue manipulation and movement education that organizes the whole body in gravity. We affect the body’s posture and structure by manipulating the connective tissue of the muscle. By working with all the layers of the body we ease patterns of strain and holding in the entire system. This allows more efficient muscle use, energy conservation, and creates more economical and refined patterns of movement.
Myofascial Cupping
Also known as Myofascial Decompression, it is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure, or suction, on the skin using plastic, or silicone cups that pull up underlying tissues, blood, and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. Used to treat musculoskeletal disorders and injuries, improving tissue health and increasing mobility. Cupping will be incorporated into many different modalities as an add on service.
